Terms of Service
1. Purpose
These terms set out the conditions for using PM EDU Math ("the Service"), an online mathematics learning service provided by Jun Academy Private Limited ("the Company"), and the rights and duties of the Company and its users.
2. Definitions
- "Member": a person who has agreed to these terms and holds an account (student, teacher or administrator)
- "Parent/guardian": the parent or lawful guardian of a student under 18
- "Worksheet": a set of homework, auto-assigned practice or test questions the Company sends to a student
- "Learning content": the questions, figures, explanations, answers and unit structure in the Service
3. Publication and changes
- The Company publishes these terms at the bottom of every page of the Service.
- We will announce changes at least 7 days before they take effect, and at least 30 days before for changes that are less favourable to members.
- A member who does not accept the changed terms may close their account.
4. Accounts
- Members either sign up and are approved by the Company, or receive an account created for them by the Company.
- Users under 18 may join only after a parent or guardian agrees to these terms and the Privacy Policy. The Company approves an account once a parent's or legal guardian's consent has been confirmed. Consent collected when the student enrols at the academy may be recorded on the site later.
- The Company may refuse or later cancel an account that uses another person's details, lacks parent/guardian consent, or is unrelated to enrolment in the Company's lessons.
5. Account security
- Members look after their own user ID and password and do not share or lend them.
- A temporary password issued by an administrator must be changed at first sign-in.
- Members tell the Company straight away if they think someone else has used their account.
6. The Service
The Company provides: worksheets (homework and auto-assigned practice), online answering with auto-save, automatic marking and explanations, a mistakes notebook, online tests and learning statistics. Students work on the worksheets the Company sends; the Company decides which questions to send and when.
7. Changes and interruptions
- The Company may change the Service to support its lessons and will give advance notice of important changes.
- The Service may pause for maintenance, faults or problems at outside providers (hosting, database). If a test is interrupted, the Company will handle it in a way that does not disadvantage the student, such as allowing a retake.
8. Fees
The Service is provided to students enrolled in the Company's lessons as part of those lessons, and no separate fee is charged. If a separate fee is introduced, the Company will announce the amount, payment and refund rules at least 30 days in advance and add them to these terms.
9. Learning content
- Rights in the learning content belong to the Company.
- Members may use learning content only for their own study and may not copy, screenshot, share or post questions, explanations or answers.
- Answers and notes entered by members belong to them; the Company uses them only for marking, teaching and improving question quality.
10. Prohibited conduct
Members must not:
- have someone else answer questions or sit tests for them;
- use materials, tools or help from others that are not allowed during a test;
- pass questions or answers to other students;
- access the Service with automated programs, or bypass or attack its security;
- view or collect other members' information.
11. Marking and tests
- Worksheets are marked automatically by the server after the whole worksheet is submitted; answers and explanations are shown after submission, or after the deadline for tests and for homework set to release results after the due time. However, for tests the Company designates, such as diagnostic tests, answers and explanations are shown when the Company decides.
- A member who thinks a mark is wrong may report it, and the Company will check and correct it.
- Leaving the test screen is recorded, and the test is submitted automatically when time runs out.
- Scores and statistics in the Service are for learning purposes only and are not school grades or official exam results.
12. Closing accounts and restrictions
- A member (or the parent/guardian of a member under 18) may close the account at any time by telling the Company. Data after closure is handled under section 6 of the Privacy Policy.
- If a member breaches section 10, the Company may suspend or close the account after giving notice. In an urgent security case, the Company may suspend first and give notice afterwards.
- When lesson enrolment ends, the Company may deactivate the account and may reactivate it on re-enrolment.
13. Limitation of liability
- The Company runs the Service with care but does not guarantee any particular improvement in grades or exam results.
- The Company is not liable for problems caused by events beyond its control, such as natural disasters or outside provider outages, except in cases of the Company's wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
- Nothing in this section limits consumer rights that apply by law.
14. Personal data
The Company protects members' personal data in accordance with its separate Privacy Policy.
15. Notices
The Company sends notices to the member's email, through on-screen messages in the Service, or to the parent/guardian's contact. For students without email, notices go to the parent/guardian.
Questions about the Service and these terms: support@pmeducation.net. We aim to reply within 7 working days.
16. Governing law and disputes
- These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes will be handled by the competent courts at Gurugram, Haryana.
- This does not remove consumer or data protection rights that the law of the member's country of residence protects as mandatory.
- In a dispute, the parties will first try to resolve it through the contact in section 13 of the Privacy Policy.
- If the Korean and English versions differ, the English version prevails.
